A Poem
By Samuel Gottstein
Through
the years you’ve watched me grow
And
now in the summers you watch me mow
Though
time has passed you still watch on
To
see just where I will belong
When
winter comes you groan and sigh
Away
to mountains, glaciers and more
Away
from the world we learn to bore
Though
you may not enjoy a trip
To
dance and back without a tip
You
still will do it, without a qualm
And
through the ride stay very calm
Why
you do this I only think
But
I can tell you in a blink
It
is love that binds a father and son
And through that love we all have won
